Massacre Records (2011)

Ever imagined  a band that sticks to old Maiden, Judas Priest and New Wave of British Heavy Metal for daily inspiration? Well, Wizard fits the bill like a glove. Songwriting is superb, production off the chain, leads and melodies all invite additional spins for that shit eating grin on your overworked mug. Vocal range of the singer is very impressive. This is one of the best Massacre releases in recent memory, I can't believe took me so long to review! Although style and  band nears perfection, record does suffer from occasional repetition or loss of momentum. Gotta love that cover, though, so metal! Grab this if you miss the magic of NWOBHM.
