Massacre Records (2011)
Original if weird name is just about the only such about this band. Presented is death metal encased (heavily!) in Killswitch Engage metalcore= deathcore!
7/10 compositions are your standard Killswitch Engage/Caliban/As I Lay Dying riffery and melodies so if you own even 1 CD of any of those 3 you've already heard most of the riffs on "Architects Of Perfection". The remaining 3 songs are where I would suggest to seek inspiration for the sequel.
The first, "Perfection", is a fine melodic tune but still very metalcore. "My Poison" and the closer are well-crafted and interesting tracks where an unusual clean croon is introduced. Finally, "Wandering" serves as a pleasant interlude before the closer.
Unless the experimentative tendencies prevail, I'm afraid Six Reasons To Kill might easily drown in the ocean of similar metalcore bands. There's some real potential and skill and even talent but this debut is a mess of well-conceived yet poorly organized ideas which had better change on album number two.
