Phobos Corp. - "Felicity" (EP)

self-released/Metal Revelation (2012)

Give the man behind this project, Spyros Papadakis, a lot of money so that he can spend it on real orchestration, eventually getting hold of the best programs. Sadly the keyboards sound a bit too cheap to make "Felicity" as good as it could be. The female vocals are not strong enough, making Phobos Corp. a lighter version of in example Nightwish and Epica. However, do notice that there are many great ideas and that the fourth track, "Angels In Despair", is an instrumental that makes me look forward to the next release, whenever that may be.

"Felicity" strongest aspect is the will to create atmospheric heavy metal with loads of cinematic influences. And I'm sure Phobos Corp. will only get better and better.
