Metal Swamp (2012)

Such compilations can be fun… …one time. I mean, Ancestral Volkhves Russian version of "With Strength I Burn" is one fine moment, Taake does a fine job with "I Am The Black Wizards" and Setherial ruins "Inno A Satana", but aside from this such a tribute doesn't give me much. Why not pay tribute by making even better songs on your own? The good thing about "In Honour…" is that it is varied due to different soundpictures, some bands dare to do their own take on Emperor and some even reach up to the originals' standard. But in general the idea of tribute albums is a no-no!
