Relapse Records (2012)
In case you couldn't tell by the name and/or the title, this is gore/grindcore/death metal in the vein of early Carcass. It IS a collection, indeed, a best of, if you will: 30 very closely sounding, though very well executed, tracks with some meh to great riffs, ridiculously loud bass and grating guttural/low growls straight out of Jeff Walker/Bill Steer bag of dual vocalization. There is, frankly, nothing original whatsoever about this band, and they don't mind saying so with the Carcass cover of "Emphatological Necroticism" off their classic "Symphonies of Sickness" and it's the best track on the album.
Jeff Walker called it "a ferocious recording" and seemed to like it. I listened to this only once and fell asleep twice. Grab it if you like that sort of thing but I prefer the master originators themselves, instead.
