EDITORIAL - NOVEMBER 2007
Love?

The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is to love and to be loved in return.

Now, wouldn’t that be fantastic? To let love loose in our bewildered world of hate, evil, pain and depression… Which makes me think from time to time, why is it that the Devil inspires the better music (subjectively speaking)? Why are so many people into music that probably does more harm to oneself than good?

I don’t think we’ll ever find the accurate question, but I know that Mr. Paul Kearns have found love these days. He simply loves the new Primordial album, and album that receives deserved praise all over the metal world, counting in Imhotep. There’s no point adding anything to the excellent review he’s written for November.

Ville Valo of HIM has never asked love to be an easy thing. Love is not easy. Some even claim that hate is just an unchanneled version of love. Yes, perhaps it is since the person you tend to hate most is the one you love most. I guess the ones who love you are also the ones that hurt you the most? HIM’s music is not about hate, but about love. Sauli Vuoti has yet again conducted a fine interview with the man in black (and a little white)!

Besides the Album and Feature Of The Month, there will of course be the regular reviews and interviews. Stay alert. Be in love. Or be whatever makes you feel good.
