Silverdollar - "Morte"

Massacre Records (2011)

Dare I say, very Megadeth-ian cover? Then, credit for opening the album with the quotes from one of my favorite movies, the documentary "The Inconvenient Truth" by Al Gore, about one the most maligned truths by multinational corporations and their (un)American puppets of the far right formerly known as the Republican Party - the man-made global warming, aka. climate crisis. It is very pertinent to the song "CO2" and if you believe global warming is a hoax (seriously, do you live on THIS Earth?!) then it will no doubt piss you off. Well, serves you right, motherfucker!

As for music of "Morte", very versatile; somewhere between Irons( " Evil Never Sleeps") Queensrÿche ("Morte") and post-"Countdown..." Megadeth ("CO2", "Hear") with a touch of hair band attitude ("Eternal Glory") and early Ozzy ("Rot").

Although songwriting appears to not be as impressive and tight as that of Stone Lake, musicianship does,  with more solos and leads than you can shake a stick at, of the kind Dave Mustaine would not be ashamed of. I don't know where Massacre finds them but keep looking for more!
