Kvist - "For kunsten maa vi evig vike"
Published: 2010.01.24

Peaceville Records (2009)

Originally released in 1996, "For Kunsten Maa Vi Evig Vike" might still be one of the most underrated Norwegian black metal releases. Kvist performs quite typical synth-spiced ´90's black metal, close to older Satyricon and their kin. There's really nothing sensational going on with this album, but the band really knows how to play catchy and melodic Nordic black metal. At least the album is great reminder of the good old days when the Norwegian black metal scene was still somewhat interesting.
