photos from Eternal Terror webzine and the label When you think about musicians still touring, writing and recording original music for 27 years, you know they are lifelong members of an elite group in metal. Denmark's Pretty Maids hit on all cylinders during the 1980's, and while going through some turbulent management/ record label turmoil in the 1990's have come out stronger than ever in this past decade. 2010's "Pandemonium" arguably is their finest full record since "Future World "- and probably one that optimizes the enduring appeal of the band. I fired off a series of questions to vocalist Ronnie Atkins, who willingly takes on all aspects of their long career. A hidden jewel amongst too many grey stones. Hidden In The Fog's amazing release "Damokles" brought us hope for the future of extreme metal, with a band daring to explore different emotions than just darkness and despair. André Aaslie of the Norwegian Scream Magazine got in touch with Ghâsh.

DAY 2 : "TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT!"
Imhotep's Paul Kearns got hold of Ben from the great festival Hellfest, held annually in France. They met at the Norwegian extreme Inferno Festival, to talk about the actual festival, the line-ups of Hellfest, the size of it and why you should choose Hellfest. It's always exciting to gain the opportunity as a journalist to be on the forefront of a young band ready to make an impact on the metal scene. Hailing from Sweden, 8-Point Rose deserve the public's attention as they've been plugging away fervently in the studio and on stage despite their relatively youthful experience. After taking in their debut album "Primigenia" Matt coe knew he had to get in contact with guitarist/ growler Adam Johansson and peer into their minds. Date: 2nd June 2010
Location: Studio Mega, Falkenberg, Sweden
