Will metal be anything else but underground? And who is really the metal underground? Imhotep writer Ravn discusses the subject in this editorial.

There is seemingly an endless stream of categories in the music scene of the world. I am not familiar with classifications outside metal, progressive rock and hard rock. But inside these genres, journalists and labels and at times the band themselves are more creative than good is. I mean, just recently we got a promo tagged Scottish Pirate Metal! Then again, I suppose this is somewhat necessary to try to make a difference.

Says Jack in “Making Christmas”: “It’s Christmastime”. And boy, is he right or is he right? December is the Christmas month and everybody is supposed to be happy, everybody stays at home with their families and eat good food and drink well and the children open their presents and we can continue our continuously feasting, just a bit more than the rest of the year.
